The house
In Vilar da Veiga, around 5 km from one of the main entrances to Peneda-Gerês National Park, Casa Miralago looks straight onto the Caniçada Dam, with the river 100 m away. Alqueirão River Beach is a 15-minute walk.
Hosts: Rosa Baptista and Sérgio Magalhães, always close by to help plan your stay.
Interiors
An open-plan living and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and glass doors opening onto the terrace. For the evenings, there is a games room with a projector and board games.

Three bedrooms with double beds and air conditioning, bed linen and towels included. Two look out over the reservoir and share a full bathroom; the third is the suite, with a private bathroom. There is also a guest WC in the living area.
Two terraces overlooking the dam, a gas barbecue and a garden where pets are welcome too. A SUP board is included — the river access is just 100 m away.
Alqueirão River Beach is a 15-minute walk; Pedra Bela, the Arado Waterfall and the Fecha de Barjas waterfalls are a short drive away.
From the terrace you can see the whole reservoir — wrapped in mist in the morning, golden at the end of the day.

Location
At the roundabout after the bridge over the reservoir (next to the Tourist Office), take the 1st exit onto the N308-1 towards Vila do Gerês. Cross the bridge and continue straight for about 1.5 km along Avenida de Admeus. Turn left onto Rua da Escola and continue onto Rua Trás das Quintas. Casa Miralago is about 200 metres further on.
